What we offer a merchant

A place in the Mercantile Passbook
Every guest is given a numbered Passbook and every merchant has a page in it: your mark, a description in your own words, and a QR code that takes a reader straight to your website. You may put a discount in it too. Guests collect a stamp at each stall as they go round, so the Passbook brings every one of them to your table, and it goes home with them afterwards. That is a visit you did not have to win, and an offer in their hands when they are deciding what to buy.
A selected Merchant list
A deliberate mix of categories, not a hall filled to capacity. Every merchant is chosen with the same care, and chosen with the people coming in mind: what they are likely to want, what they already buy, and what would genuinely tempt them. Your neighbours are considered as carefully as you are.
A room with a limit on it
Admission is capped at 300 across the evening, in two admission times, with every stall trading to both. The cap is set so that a stall is properly seen rather than passed in a crowd, and so the room never becomes a scrum.
An audience that is not browsing on a Saturday
Every guest books a named admission and chooses a sitting, so the room is people who set the evening aside to come rather than people passing a stall on their way somewhere else.
Help in and out
Installation before opening and clearance after close, if you want them. Say so on the form and we will arrange it.
Support and advice, from people who have done it
The founders have traded, and know what makes a great evening. Ask about layout, pricing, what to bring, how much stock, what sells at six and what sells at half past eight. We would rather spend an hour with you beforehand than watch a good stall go quiet.

What belongs at a Mercantile Evening

Goods you have a hand in
Made, grown, sourced or chosen by you, and something you can talk about across a stall all evening.
A stall that is dressed
Presentation makes ninety per cent of a stall’s success. Admission is limited, so every stall is properly seen.
An evening, not a day
17:00 to 21:30 on Thursday, 3 September 2026, across two sittings. Set up from 2:30pm.
A central location
Warwickshire, easily reached, with parking for everyone coming.
A single espresso and its saucer on a dark table, caught in a narrow shaft of light.

Introduce your business

There is no form of words to get right. Tell us what you make and what you would bring, and your details go on the list of stalls under consideration for No. II and the editions after it.

A stall needs two people to run it, including yourself — one of them looks after Passbook stamping all evening.

Stall prices are not published here. We set them with you once an introduction is accepted, and no stall is charged for before then.

Completing it also opens the Merchants’ Room to you. Each stall is set out and you choose the one you want, on a first come, first served basis. We will be in touch with your sign-in details once your introduction has been accepted.

Wherever your goods can be seen.

Choose a category first.

What you make or sell, how it is made, and what you would bring to a stall.

PNG or JPEG, up to 4MB. It is how your entry appears in the list of merchants, so a PNG with a transparent background sits best.

Stall particulars

Your stall

Nothing here is binding. It tells us what to allow for when the floorplan is drawn, so the stall you pick from it actually suits you.

Including yourself. Two is the minimum: one of them looks after Mercantile Passbook stamping all evening.

We can help you in and out.

For the people working your stall, so we can plan what is served to them.
