Come to The Mercantile.

Thirteen merchants under one roof, in two sittings on a Thursday evening. Come whichever suits you, take your time, and make an evening of it. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free.

A high-ceilinged hall in daylight, laid out with trestle tables of ceramics, folded textiles on a rail, cut flowers and glassware.

Two sittings. Each with its own Golden Hour.

Booking a workshop also gives you access during both the early and later admission times, so you can browse before or after your session.

Most markets are a daytime errand. The Mercantile is an evening out. The doors open at 17:00, and again again for the later admission; come to whichever suits you and leave whenever you wish.

There are two tickets.

Free admission includes entry, free parking, the water station, our help desk, purchase collection and the Golden Hour. No invitation is needed, but you must book ahead — no tickets are issued at the door.

The £18 Passbook includes all of that and adds supper — hot artisan sourdough pizza with a choice of toppings, crisps and nuts, homemade cookies and fresh fruit — two seasonal mocktails, and a printed Passbook of merchant offers.

Group price

Bring friends or family. The Passbook is £15 each when 3 or more are booked together.

Merchants

Thirteen in all, chosen rather than booked, and a workshop alongside them.
